The Smoked Salmon Fettuccine at Sotto Mare: A Decadent and Creamy Delight.

Just a block from Washington Square is our target: The seafood restaurant Sotto Mare. The restaurant has been run since 2014 by Rich and Laura Azzolino with help from their children. But this blog is about identifying the very best tasting menu items in the city. So, head to Sotto Mare, have a seat, wave off the menu, and say “Give me your best. The Fettuccine with Smoked Salmon.” This dish was identified by Yolomeal Crowdtaster Ann Brekke, and has been upvoted by many others since then.

The fettuccine is made with fresh fettuccine noodles that are tossed in a creamy white sauce made with lots of butter, cream, and Parmesan cheese. The sauce is rich and decadent, and the smoked salmon adds a smoky and salty flavor that perfectly complements the creaminess of the sauce.

The fettuccine is also topped with a generous amount of fresh herbs, which add a touch of freshness to the dish. The overall effect is a smoky creamy dish that is sure to please seafood lovers.
