The best burger in Philly is….Monk’s medium rare with the brussels!

The Crowdtasters of Yolomeal.com have spoken, and the highest ranked burger can be found at Monk’s Cafe in Center City. While the mussels frites are the restaurant’s signature dish, their special burger is THE must-try item on the menu. Monk’s likes to call itself “The Soul of Belgium in the Heart of Philadelphia.” And there is a lot of soul in their tasty burger!

Shown is the Brussels burger at Monks Cafe. The burger was voted best in Philadelphia by the Crowdtasters of yolomeal.com. It is sitting on a bun with the bun top on the left side. The burger has mayo underneath and bacon and melted cheese on top. Served with french fries and a dipping sauce.

Starting with a fresh 10 oz beef patty, it’s grilled perfectly to order (don’t you DARE order one any way other than medium-rare)! This juicy grilled burger is placed on a pillowy soft Merzbacher’s Bakery Sweet Potato Bun. On the bun bottom goes Monk’s house made mayo then the burger on top. The Crowdtasters want more! They are in love with this burger getting the “Brussels” treatment, which is the burger topped with juicy grilled Bacon and melty Cheddar Cheese. Don’t risk going with any other topping, the best burger in Philadelphia is the Monk’s medium rare with “the Brussels.”
